Charles Trent Ltd., of Poole have gone electric with the latest Lefort 2P6000 baler for their Poole yard. A long standing customer of Lefort, Charles Trent are always looking for the best technology to increase productivity and reduce costs. The latest design of car baler, the 2P6000 ticks all of these boxes. The 2P6000, previously called the 2P180, has been a very popular model and this is actually the third of these machines to reach the UK, but the first in electric version, fitted with a 132kw electric motor. Originally designed for the US market this machine has a wider opening box, and higher baling compression than earlier Lefort machines, making a much denser bale and faster folding action.
